LMDT es un dispositivo escénico para tomar el pasado en las manos a partir de la pregunta ¿cómo es la danza contemporánea uruguaya? Según las artistas entrevistadas es una danza pensada, experimental, que parece que no está terminada, cruda, que va al límite con una idea, heterogénea, libre, irreverente, no es condescendiente, es muy conceptual, muy física, original…
LMDT es una práctica para activar el archivo, un museo vivo, una traducción posible, un gesto de amor y cuidado, un intento por reescribir y reentender la historia y la identidad de nuestra danza desde los cuerpos actuales y sus universos.

Time Machine is a scenic device to handle the past from the question: what is Uruguayan contemporary dance like? According to the artists interviewed, it is a thoughtful, experimental dance that seems unfinished, raw, that goes to the limit with an idea, heterogeneous, free, irreverent, it is not condescending, it is very conceptual, very physical, de colonial, surprising, original…
Time Machine is a practice to activate the archive, a living museum, a possible translation, a gesture of love and care, an attempt to rewrite and re-understand the history and identity of our dance from current bodies and their universes.
